ELH Challenge #78: E-Learning Icons (free download - click on images)
So I finally took on my first challenge from the eLearning Heroes Community. A great place to be with so many talented e-learning specialists providing so much support. David Anderson is the Community Manager and he posts challenges to keep us thinking, creating and simply building our community of ideas to share and use.
This one requires us to search deep inside of us to find ideas to create graphics or icons to build on our own. I'm not a graphic artist by trade but have learned that if you put your mind to it and just play around for awhile, you can be creative. David calls this the DIY Icons for e-Learning.
So what I did was search for stick people in Google Images and animals in clip art and then simply ungrouped and regrouped so the heads of the animals ended up on the heads of the stick people. That's it, that's all. No big deal, huh ! I hope this is what David was looking for.
I later added the annotation icons. These icons were no mastermind creation.
Process used: Simply insert shape (shape effect, shadow offset diagonal bottom left, preset 3). Insert symbol (shadow). Then grouped.
Could be used to annotate specific action (as shown). Click the image for more...
